How to care for your wig!

Remember that these wigs are made with 100% human hair and hand-tied onto a lace cap therefore, frequent use and combing might cause tangling and shedding.

Also bear in mind that they need a lot of care because they don't have those natural nutrients that runs from the scalp to the hair shaft hence, you should treat them as you would your own hair by washing and especially conditioning regularly. We recommend using our Wig hair care products to keep your wig in the best possible condition.

When your wig arrives, it'll feel nice and lovely however after a few wears, it might start to feel dull. This is similar to when you have your hair done in the salon, it feels great the first few days/weeks and starts to gradually loose its shine. So again it's really important to constantly maintain it.

Typically they will last 1-2 years depending on how well they are looked after.

Lace wigs will shed overtime simple because each strand is hand tied onto the lace cap. Frequent combing will cause the strand to come out and shed. In other to ensure your wig lasts for as long as possible, follow these simple instructions.

- Try not to sleep with your wig on or at least do NOT sleep with it on, on a regular basis. Sleeping with your wig on, will cause the hair to rub against your bedding which can cause tangling and will require additional combing.

- Wash and Condition your wig with a moisturising shampoo/conditioner twice a month depending on how often you wear it. Deep condition at least once a month.
